Georgia Music Hall of Fame is up for Grabs

The Georgia Music Hall of Fame is up for grabs and four cities made their case to host the museum.

Dunwoody, Athens, Woodstock and Macon were each given an hour Friday to make a pitch before the Georgia Music Hall of Fame Authority at the museum in downtown Macon.
The state-run museum honors Georgia music greats like Ray Charles, Otis Redding, Little Richard, Johnny Mercer and the Allman Brothers. It’s been located in Macon for nearly 20 years, but it loses money every year, and some state legislators want to shut off funding for the museum in Macon.
